smart building (/smärt/ /ˈbildiNG/)

A building that connects the physical infrastructure, technology, and energy systems to enable occupant productivity in a cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner; by optimizing illumination, thermal comfort, air quality, physical security, sanitation, and more.
